How login works on iplfantasynow
Login uses your email address and a one-time password (OTP) sent to that address; we do not maintain persistent passwords because the OTP model eliminates the credential-reset attack surface. After entering your email, an OTP arrives in your inbox within 30 seconds. Enter the six-digit code on the login page to complete the sign-in. Sessions last 30 days on the same browser; signing out invalidates the session immediately. There is no username, no password and no security question - just your verified email.
If you do not receive the OTP
First check the spam or junk folder; legitimate OTP emails sometimes route there on corporate or school email systems. Second, whitelist [email protected] in your email client. Third, confirm your email is spelled correctly in the login form. If you still do not receive the OTP within two minutes, open the support link in the footer and submit a 'no OTP' ticket with the email address you are trying to use. We respond within four hours during the IPL season and within 24 hours during the off-season.
Managing your sessions and devices
Account → Sessions lists every device that is currently signed in, with the browser, operating system, last activity time and approximate IP-based location. To sign out a session remotely, click 'Sign out' next to any entry. To sign out every device except the one you are using, click 'Sign out everywhere'. The session list updates within 60 seconds of any sign-in or sign-out. Devices that have not been active for more than 30 days are automatically pruned from the list.
Account lockouts and what triggers them
Accounts are temporarily locked after 10 consecutive failed OTP attempts in a 10-minute window. The lock clears automatically after 30 minutes. If you are locked out longer than 30 minutes, contact support with the email address and the approximate time of the lockout. Accounts may also be locked by the editorial desk if there is suspicious activity tied to the address - this is rare and is always communicated by email within 24 hours. The desk does not lock accounts for editorial disagreement, comment activity or reading habits.
